Autumn Knitting Rituals: The Perfect Start to the Knitting Season

Dear knitting friends,

Autumn is here – and so is the season, which is made for cozy knitting hours! While many of us don’t put the knitting needles out of our hands all year round, knitting feels especially beautiful right now, at the beginning of autumn, right?

For all those who may have neglected their knitting projects a little during the summer months: Now is the perfect moment to get started again! Maybe one or the other of you needs a little push to really immerse yourself in the world of wool again – and that’s totally fine!

That’s why we thought about how to make the entry into the new knitting season as cozy and beautiful as possible. In doing so, we have come to the conclusion that small knitting rituals can make a real difference! These little moments that make knitting not only a creative activity, but a true feel-good experience, we want to share with you today.

A cuddle for the knitting season

How about a cozy knitting corner? A comfortable armchair, a soft ceiling and a few pillows – you have your perfect place to make yourself comfortable with your knitting projects. A small conscious moment in your feel-good corner helps to leave the everyday life behind you and to relax on your knitting evening.

Tea, candles and the right mood

Mood is everything! Imagine: it gets dark outside, maybe it rains easily, and you make it really comfortable inside. You grab a cup of tea or coffee and light a few candles. In addition, a relaxed playlist in the background, and the knitting evening becomes a real feel-good moment that you can always look forward to.

A knitting diary for more personality

You may remember: In an earlier blog post, we introduced you to the idea of a knitting diary. If you haven’t started yet, now may be the right time to get back in after a knitted-down summer. A knitting diary can become a great little ritual – you can record your progress, write down ideas or patterns and always have a nice overview of everything you have already achieved.

So why not just try it out?

The autumnal nature as a source of motivation

Autumn is a real color explosion – and that’s exactly what you can incorporate into your knitting projects! Earth tones, warm shades of red and orange or gentle shades of beige and brown reflect nature in this season. Let yourself be inspired by the colors of the leaves and the autumnal mood and use them as motivation to knit something new.

But enough talked or written – we don’t want to keep you on torture! With us in the shop there are some great novelties, and we are very happy to show you our latest autumn knitting kits. Maybe it’s your next favorite project?
