My Little Kirsten shirt is the same structure as the adult version, Kirsten shirt, but I decided to knit it in Isager Soft Fine, which makes it soft and child-friendly. Isager Soft has a running length of at least 150 m per 25 grams, so that the garment is very light and airy. First, the body is worked laterally and brought into shape with shortened rows. If you want to knit a dress, you can easily extend the garment by hitting more stitches.
For the pass, stitches are picked up and at the same time an edge rib pattern is knitted, which covers the stop edge and thus results in a beautiful and clean rear side. The shirt has a button strip at the front and on the neck is attached another strip edge, which is closed with a corrugated edge.
The small chest can be knitted in sizes 2 – 12 years.

Konstruktion
The front and back parts are knitted sideways in the pattern smoothly on the right with crimping ribs. Shorter rows are knitted so that the distance between the crimp ribs becomes narrower closer to the pass. When the body is finished, stitches are picked up and knitted along the top of the body, and from these stitches the pass is knitted with the front button strip. Shortened rows are knitted on the shoulders and the shoulders are knitted together.
The design has a rib collar and small wing sleeves that are knitted and sewn separately.
