Danish Knitting Tradition: Unique in Austria

When you think of knitting, scarf, wool sweater, hat or socks usually come to mind immediately. Garments that are more intended for the cold season. It is therefore not surprising that many products in our shop have their origin in Scandinavia – including Isager Yarns.

The Danish company Isager has been around since 1977 and has always stood for the best yarn quality and an extensive color palette. Of course, only natural fibres such as linen, alpaca, cotton, bamboo or even silk are used for the yarns. This naturalness is very much appreciated by Stricker:innen around the globe.

Isager does not only produce yarns of the highest quality. The company founder Marianne Isager and her daughter and co-owner Helga Isager have launched a large number of popular knitting books over the years.

We are definitely a big fan of Isager and have the most popular yarns even in all colors. We can order the rest of the range individually according to your wishes in Denmark.

Before you take air jumps now, maybe a little hint: Most Isager knitting instructions are suitable for advanced knitters. If you have enough endurance as a beginner, you can try your hand at the Tokyo shawl.

If you are also looking for an attractive way to stow and organize woolballs, knitting needles & co, then we have an idea for you:

The Kraft Caddy from Cocoknits not only looks quite stylish, but is also extremely practical with its 3 outer and 9 inner pockets.
