Holiday Greetings, Summer Tricks & Autumn Projects

Two weeks have passed like in flight, and here we are again to provide you with the latest holiday and knitting updates. Hand on heart, who would have thought that Sabine is such a spontaneous adventurer and her travel plans are so flexible?

Originally without a fixed goal in mind, Sabine, her husband Christian and her faithful four-legged friend Rupert set out on a journey that unexpectedly took them to the diverse and colorful landscapes of the Netherlands. Until recently, Sabine was vacillating between Denmark and Brittany as possible destinations, but fate obviously had other plans for our trio.

Sabine is currently in Maastricht, the oldest city in the Netherlands. This historic city, with its impressive mix of medieval, Gothic and modern architecture, offers more than enough inspiration for a lot of creative projects. Despite the many new impressions, Sabine never forgets her loyal customers.

Even when travelling, she remains true to her passion for knitting and continues to provide you with fresh and inspiring knitting ideas. And that's what we're going to do now, so have the knitting needles ready!

Mandarin Petit by Sandnes Garn - A hidden jewel

Today we would like to take the opportunity to draw attention to a particularly underestimated yarn: the Mandarin Petit by Sandnes Garn.

“I had set out to make the gigantic and absolutely cool” Buttercup Beach Bag by Sandnes Garn to be completed in time for the holiday. Unfortunately, it was not quite enough time and she now has to wait until next year. A classic case of ambitious plans and too little time – I hope for next year!
