The Olga Sweater is worked from top to bottom with strips. First, the upper part of the back is done in rows, while the shoulder slopes are formed by shortened rows. At the same time, knitting is carried out in the strip pattern. The shoulders are then worked separately on a circular knitting needle. These are then connected to the front. The front and rear sides are joined to form the body, which is knitted in rounds with strips on a circular knitting needle. The sleeves are made from received stitches around the arm cutouts. The collar on the neck cutout is finally knitted from picked-up M and folded double.

Größenguide

The Olga Sweater should have a range of movement (positive ease) of about 23 cm in the smallest sizes, but increasingly smaller in the larger sizes. The sizes XXS(XS)S(M)L(XL)2XL (3XL)4XL (5XL) match a chest circumference on the body of 75-80 (80-85)85-90 (90-95)95-100 (100-110) 110-120 (120-130) 130-140 (140-150) cm. The dimensions of the finished sweater can be found on the front of the instructions. Note: These dimensions apply only if the gauge is observed. Take measurements of yourself before you begin the actual knitting to determine the size that suits you best. If your chest circumference (or the widest part of your body) is 95 cm, you should choose size M. A sweater in Gr. M has a breast circumference of 118 cm and in this case would have a range of movement (positive ease) of 23 cm.
