Knitting kits for the holiday

Just in time for the beginning of summer, the weather finally shows its best side. But that was also time, because the spring has hardly been seen this year – at least in Austria. We are therefore all the happier now that the weather situation has changed for the better at the beginning of the summer and holiday season.

Speaking of vacation time: Sabine also says goodbye to the holiday and will spend a whole month in her beloved Scandinavia. The journey goes from Denmark via Norway to Sweden, because there is undoubtedly nothing more beautiful than the Scandinavian summer for Sabine.

But do not worry, we will not leave you alone. During this time, we have set up a “vacation service” in our shop. Every Tuesday afternoon and Saturday morning, the dear Eva is on site and takes care of you in matters of wool & Co. Orders in the online shop are reliably processed and our blog posts are also published every 14 days as usual.

But now enough with the chatter, because what would a blog post be without inspiring knitting kits. We start with PetiteKnit again – yes, we admit it, we fell in love.

PetiteKnit I Cleo Clutch

We have already introduced you to some PetiteKnit bags, but with the Cleo Clutch designer Mette Wendelboe Okkels really “shot the bird” – quote by Sabine.

Even before this bag design was even released, the accessories for it were already sold out at PetiteKnit – hard to believe, right? Also with us have been diligently ordered feed materials & Co. By the middle of next week, however, it is finally time and the long-awaited supply from Denmark finally arrives with us.

Otherloops I Reverse Loop Sweater

Of course, we do not want to withhold Sabine’s first knitting project for the holiday. The Reverse Loop Sweater – an oversized sweater with a light A-shape.

With this design, you can put together your favorite colors yourself. So a sweater is created according to your taste. Sabine has opted for the “colorful” variant in black and white.

Rastus I Brette

Even if you probably do not need a scarf at these temperatures, this new addition should not be missing in our article. Did you have to think of origami animals at the sight? That was the inspiration of the designer.

The manual is available directly from the designer, but only in English. However, since the scarf is knitted only with smooth and inverted stitches, this should be feasible in any case.

Lana Grossa I Setasuri

Speaking of the scarf! Since the new colors of the Setasuri wool by Lana Grossa have been received by us and we now have 50 different colors in our house, we are already equipped for the autumn/winter 2023/24.

This wool is the perfect alternative to silk-mohair mixes such as threads from Miss Tsart or Tynn Silk Mohair. Gauge, weight and tread length are identical. Setasuri only uses alpaca instead of mohair.

But now we wish Sabine a nice holiday and look forward to her returning with many new ideas, inspirations and impressions from her journey.
