The Smart from Sandnes Garn is great for heavy-duty clothing and is perfect for multi-color knit (like fair isle). The yarn is superwash treated so that it can withstand frequent washing in the machine.
Wool clothing is pleasantly light, keeps warm and is very durable. Wool is durable and pilling-resistant. It ensures that the clothes always look good and keep their shape for a long time. Not only is wool excellently thermally insulating, but it also conducts moisture away from the body through the structure of its fibers and keeps the heat even when it is moist.

Due to the absorbent properties of merino wool in combination with the superwash treatment, we recommend that the garment be washed separately in the wool program for the gentlest possible treatment. For the same reason, it is important to gently fling the part in order to then dry it flat, preferably lying on a towel. Never wash hand knitted parts in a laundry net/wash bag. This produces friction, which can lead to the part matting.
