The top is knitted from top to bottom, in a double moss stitch with 2 threads of MANDARIN PETIT.
First, stitches are struck for each front part, which are knitted back and forth with increases for the neckline. The front parts are then taken together and knitted under the sleeves. Stitches are then knitted for each back part, which are knitted back and forth with increases for the neckline. The back parts are knitted individually to the bottom of the sleeves before they are knitted together with the front part. The work is then knitted up to the total length in back and forth rows and finished with a bundle. Sleeve edges, front strips and neck edges are knitted in a ribbon pattern. For the back closure, you choose whether you want to pull a knitted cord through the holes in the neck edge or prefer a closure with a button or a band.
