The Tynn Silk Mohair is a soft and luxurious mixture of the finest mohair, wool and silk. The yarn is thin and very difficult to process. It can be knitted in a single-threaded manner, it always results in an airy and luxurious piece of clothing.
Many models of Sandnes Garn are knitted with thin wool together with the mohair. This gives additional volume, heat and cuddle factor.
Mohair is wool of the Angoraziege. This is a goat breed with long, silky, curly wool fibers. To give the yarn more elasticity, wool was added. The silk ensures strength and shine, while at the same time holding the fibers tight when brushed on. This produces a soft, light and airy yarn with fluffy feel.

57% Kidmohair, 15% Sullied Wool and 28% Silk
Run length per 50 grams of ball = about 424 meters
The following gauges are obtained with different needle sizes:
Needle size 5: 18 M = 10 CM
Nadel Stärke 4 – 4,5: 19 M = 10 CM
Nadel Stärke 3,5 – 4: 20 M = 10 CM
Nadel Stärke 3 – 3,5: 21 M = 10 CM
