The Scotty sweaters is knitted smoothly from top to bottom on the right with a thread of spini and two threads of Silk Mohair, or with yarn giving the same gauge. First the back is knitted, then shoulders, front and lastly the torso. Stitches are picked up along the arm cutouts to knit dome sleeves with shortened rows. At the neck cutout, stitches for a ribbon edge are picked up, which is folded at the end onto the inside and stitched there. The Scotty sweater does not need to be stitched together, except for the fret edge on the neckline. The diamonds on the Scotty sweater are embroidered at the end with the help of the mesh stitch.

The Scotty sweater should have a range of movement (positive ease) of about 10 cm in relation to your chest circumference. The sizes XS(S) M(L) XL match a breast circumference of approximately 85 (90) 95 (100) 110 cm. Take measurements of yourself before you start knitting to make sure you have chosen the right size for you. This means, for example, if you have measured a breast circumference of 90 cm (take yourself with a tape measure), you should knit a size S that has a breast circumference of 99 cm. If you are between two sizes, choose the small one.

The Scotty sweater in the photo is knitted in Spinni by Isager in color 58 together with Silk Mohair by Isager in color 6.

The diamond pattern is embroidered Spinni of Isager in color 47 together with Silk Mohair of Isager in color 47 and Spinni of Isager in color 11S together with Silk Mohair of Isager in color 41.

Gauge: 17 stitches x 24 rows smooth right on needle 5 mm = 10 x 10 cm
