Petra Polo It works from top to bottom. First, the upper part of the back is done with increases. The shoulders are then made from picked up stitches at the top of the rear side. Stitches are picked up along the shoulder part edges, so that now all the stitches of the pass are on a needle and can be knitted together in rows; first with sleeve increases, then with raglan increases. The diaphragms are worked in the double knit of picked up stitches. The torso is knitted in rounds on a circular knitting needle, the sleeves also in rounds with a set of double-pointed needles or the Magic Loop method; either with short or long sleeves. Finally, the collar is made with a narrow rib pattern. Petra Polo is closed with three buttons.

First, make a gauge to determine the needle size that suits you. Wash and strain them before you measure them.

Größenguide

Petra Polo is with a range of movement ()positive ease) designed by about 2 cm. The sizes XXS(XS)S(M)L(XL)2XL (3XL)4XL (5XL) match a breast circumference on the body of 75-80 (80-85)85-90 (90 95)95-100 (100 110) 110-120 (120-130) 130-140 (140-150) cm. The dimensions of the finished sweater can be found on the title page. Note: these dimensions apply only if the gauge is correct. Take measurements of yourself before you begin the actual knitting to determine the size that suits you best. For example, if your breast circumference (or the widest part of your body) is 90 cm, you should choose size S. A sweater in size S has a breast circumference of 92 cm and in the chosen example the range of movement is ()positive ease) 2 cm. For example, if you have wide shoulders but a small breast circumference, you should choose a larger size. Look at what size you would normally wear on a sweater. You can also measure a sweater from your wardrobe that suits you particularly well and choose the size in the manual that comes closest to it.
