The Cross Sweater It works from top to bottom. On the pass, as well as along the edges on sleeves and below on the body, a bridle of crosses is knitted. First, the upper part of the back is made in rows, after which the shoulders are produced separately in rows on a circular knitting needle. These are connected centrally at the front and form the front side. The front and rear sides are connected and form the body, which is knitted in rounds on a circular knitting needle. Stitches for the sleeves are inserted around the arm cutouts. The folded-over collar on the neck cutout is last worked from picked up stitches in strips.
Größenguide
The Cross Sweater should have a freedom of movement ()positive ease) of about 25 cm in the smallest sizes, but increasingly smaller in the larger sizes. The sizes XXS(XS)S(M)L(XL)2XL (3XL)4XL (5XL) match a chest circumference on the body of 75-80 (80-85)85-90 (90-95)95-100 (100-110) 110-120 (120-130) 130-140 (140-150) cm. The dimensions of the finished sweater can be found on the front of the instructions. Note: These dimensions apply only if the gauge is observed. Take measurements of yourself before you begin the actual knitting to determine the size that suits you best. If your chest circumference (or the widest part of your body) is 95 cm, you should choose size M. A sweater in Gr. M has a chest circumference of 120 cm and in this case would have a range of movement ()positive ease) of 25 cm.
