Material
Donegal Tweed by Lang Yarns (100 % wool, 50 g = 105 m) DONEGAL TWEED – This Gan, spun and coloured according to a tradition steeped in history in the Donegal region of Ireland. It invites you to make classic pieces that can become heirlooms. Since the yarn still contains some spinning oil, a remarkable transformation is revealed after knitting and washing: the yarn unfolds, gains in volume and receives a luxurious softness that highlights the timeless look.

About Linka Neumann:
Linka quickly realized that life was more than just school. She still did a bachelor's degree in pedagogy. In the years after VGS, there was a lot of travel in the world and in Norway. Linka currently lives with her husband Waqas and the dogs Sakura and Obelix in Åsgreina near Romeriksåsene.
Knitting and handicrafts have always been an important part of the family and Linka was always the one in the family who did not knit. This changed after living in Røros for a while. Where the inspiration for knitting became great after working in a nursing home where both staff and patients knitted the most beautiful things. The first Marius sweater was knitted and this was the beginning of a new phase of life.
Linka eventually began designing her own clothes, and the first sweater, the Wilderness sweater, is still one of the most popular. She has published two books. Wilderness Sweaters Vol.1 was released in 2019 and was on the bestseller list for over 30 weeks. Wilderness Sweaters vol. 2 was released in 2020. Book 1 has been translated into many languages and Book 2 follows closely after.
After Waqas met Linka, the world changed and together we are Team Dynamite! Linka is very creative and quite incompetent in dealing with computers. She was probably born in the wrong century, even though she is not a good tech friend? Waqas is just the opposite.
In 2020, Linka and Waqas opened the online shop linkaneumann.com and the adventure continues.
