ISAGER TVINNI was developed by Marianne Isager together with the Danish spinning mill “Skive Uldspinderi”. It is made of fine merino quality lamb wool in the first cut. The Tvinni is very grippy, not as you imagine the soft lamb wool of the purchased sweaters, but rustic in the grip.
The long and fine fibers ensure a very durable quality, a wool that blossoms wonderfully over time. A sweater knitted in Tvinni has a very long life span if carefully treated.
Since it is a two-thread spun yarn, it is suitable for knitting smoothly on the right in rounds and, due to its lightness, can be used in various combinations alone or together with other qualities, e.g. Fair Isle and Norwegian knitting.
Material
100% wool 50 grams with about 255 meters
Spun and coloured in Denmark
Please note: Isager provides us with the Tvinni in large 100 gram strands consisting of 2x 50 grams. To make the price more attractive for you, we offer the 50 grams for purchase. So you have the advantage that you can order exactly the amount you really need and do not have any other 50 grams of strands. So if you order an odd number (e.g. 150 or 350 grams), then you get half a strand (i.e. 50 grams) without banderole (but it is always the same game on it you can rely). The price refers to a 50 gram strand.
