Annette Danielsen saves the impressions of unforgettable journeys by knitting. Her trip to Buthan was both an old dream and a true adventure. On the eastern edge of the Himalayas, happiness and spirituality are very important. The hidden kingdom is known for its monasteries, fortresses and spectacular scenery ranging from subtropical plains to steep mountains and valleys. Whether the Thunder Dragon, the Tiger’s Nest, the black forests, a prayer flag or the chili on the market – Inspired by the Thunder Dragon, the Tiger’s Nest, the black forests, a prayer flag or the chili on the market – Annette Danielsen had from the first second the desire to enshrine what she had seen and still remain true to her Scandinavian style.
The ultimate goal of politics in Buthan: to make citizens happy. There is a country where the government does everything it can to make its citizens happy, even at the expense of economic progress.
When Annette Danielsen travelled with her backpack for the first time 32 years ago, she did not know what to expect. But after a few, she had no doubt: “To travel is to live.”
