IXCHEL is a top down colorwork yoke sweater knit in the round. Unlike most yoke sweaters, this one has center front and back panels that remain untouched by increases. Markers are placed around these panels to remind you and for help with achieving symmetry. Each side of the sweater between front and back panels mirrors the other. Make sure to weave in ends as you go so you are not left with a a big weaving job when you finish. Above everything, please take your time. This is a practice in slow knitting. Mistakes are barely noticeable in a sweater like this but can also be fixed with duplicate stitch. Enjoy!
FINISHED BUST MEASUREMENTS (finish-knit breast circumference)
81.5(94, 106.5, 112.5, 125, 131, 144, 150) cm to be worn with 0-10 cm positive ease

Gauge/gauge:
26 sts x 34 rnds = 10 cm on 3.5 mm needles after blocking.
27 sts x 36 rnds in stockinette without colorwork on 3.5 mm needles.
28 sts x 40 rounds over 3×1 rib on size 3 mm needles without blocking.

3.5 mm/US 4 circular needle , 60-80 cm/24-32” length AND knitting needles suitable for working small circumferences in the round, or size needed to obtain the correct gauge.
2.5 mm/US2 circular needle, 60-80 cm/24-32” length AND knitting needles suitable for working small circumferences in the round.

11 stitch markers (one unique for beg of round), stitch holders or scrap yarn, tapestry needle.
