ORGANIC LEINEN – LANGLEBIG – NATUR FASER
Løvetand by CaMaRose is a versatile linen yarn. The special thing about Løvetand is that it is not just a single linen thread, but a warp yarn. This means that a very thin thread is already knitted in itself. As a result, it has a good volume and is softer than conventional linen yarns.
Løvetand consists of the stem of the flax flower, which makes the yarn robust and durable because it has long fibers. Pure linen feels a bit stiff at the beginning, but it becomes soft and flowing with washing and wearing.
Løvetand is suitable for summer knitwear, for example tops, t-shirts, dresses and skirts. If you crochet the Løvetand, it is also suitable for beach bags, purses and other accessories that require a solid structure. Linen cools on a warm summer day.
Løvetand’s color palette consists of smoky, classic and finely harmonious colors, which makes it possible to combine the colors with each other.
The flax fibre used in Løvetand comes from Belgium, and the yarn itself is made in Italy specifically for my company Camarose.
Material
100% linen
50 grams about 140 meters
Empfohlene Nadelstärke 3,5 – 4,0 mm.
Gauge: 1 thread on 3 mm needle, 21-22 stitches = 10 cm.
PflegeHand wash
As with the HOR SILKE from Gepard Garn, we recommend that in order to achieve the luxurious, smooth, loose linen look, let the finished knit piece first soak in water at room temperature, without further ado. If you have knitted multicolored, stick to it at the beginning, if one of the colors bleeds out, do not soak but rinse again and again until no more color comes. After that, you can soak it as described above.
After that, you can wash normally, even in the washing machine. Wool washing program 20-25 degrees, do not fling (as this can give wrinkles in linen).
