He finally arrived – the summer. For many, the most beautiful time of the year: with long days, short nights, juicy green meadows and this indescribable feeling of lightness, warmth and real joie de vivre. And every year we are a little bit surprised that our Sabine of all people can not quite do anything with this season. For her, the summer is too bright, too hot, too much – just nothing she would look forward to from the heart.

That is precisely why, in the last few days, we thought about how we could perhaps make the summer palatable for her. What would have to happen for Sabine to say at some point: “Well, maybe the summer isn’t that bad after all”?

And then suddenly there was this idea. Quite unspectacularly popped up, we are somewhere between a stack of colorful summer yarns and knitting instructions, Sabine in the cooler north, each with a cup of coffee and a conversation about the little pleasures of life. An idea that immediately made us smile and that we absolutely want to share with you:

How about a knitting picnic?

Imagine this: a quiet place in the green, soft grass under the ceiling, a little shade under an old tree, maybe even a view of the mountains or a lake. All around the quiet chirping of the crickets, a few balls of wool that shine in the sun for the bet and in the middle: you and your dearest knitting friends: inside.
