Wool is not the same as wool

Many immediately think of wool as a long-grown sheepskin, which is spun into yarns, but in times when animal welfare is becoming an ever-increasing topic, many want to resort to another, often plant-based alternative.

Just because you want to do without wool from animal hair, it does not mean that you have to give up knitting as a hobby. Because even when it comes to the subject of wool, there are great alternatives made of linen, cotton or bamboo, which are also organic.

In our range, this type of wool must of course not be missing at all.

Very new to us in the shop is “ISAGER / HOR”. The linen yarn is 100% organic and the perfect alternative for those who do not tolerate or do not want to use conventional wool.

SOMMER PUR 50% linen, 30% cotton, 20% bamboo.
Ein super dünnes Garn, das mit all den anderen Isager Garnen zusammen verstrickt werden kann, vor allem mit der Silk Mohair und Alpaca 1 wird es ganz zart. Es kann ebenfalls sehr gut zwei- oder dreifädig verstrickt werden. So bekommt das Garn jeweils die gewünschte Stärke und im Grunde können so alle Modelle des Isager Sortiments mit TRIO gestrickt werden.
