At the beginning we have to say a big thank you this time. Because we couldn't be more excited! Over the past two weeks, we’ve had your incredible enthusiasm for the “Snefnug” of CaMaRose And it was really overwhelming.

The wool has struck like a bomb! Since then, we have had to re-order twice, because the shelves were empty faster than we expected. There has never been such an onslaught in our country. We are so glad that you CaMaRose Just as excited as us.

Today it will be a little different here than usual! Usually our knitting kits are more for the ladies, but now there’s something new: Sandnes Garn has released a collection for men – and it’s just too good to keep from you. We think the collection has really style and makes something real.

Of course, we know that most of those who visit our blog and our store are women – and we are always thrilled about the passion for knitting that you bring every day! Today, however, we want to talk about why we find that knitting can be a real top hobby for men as well. Because hand on heart: knitting is simply so versatile that it is really suitable for everyone and everyone.

We have often talked about the fact that knitting has a calming effect and helps to get down and that makes it a hobby that is of course also ideal for men. The stress of everyday life vanishes with every mesh – perfect for everyone who just wants to switch off.

So, dear knitting friends – maybe this inspires you to put some needles and yarn into the hands of the men in your life. In our opinion, knitting is a hobby for everyone who wants to create something of their own or get their head off.

Exactly corresponding to the topic of men's knit, we want to tell you again this time a story from our store. Today with the title: Only good sons are bribed ... or those who live far away.

All right, then let’s start: The son of a dear customer should get a sweater. Not just any sweater, but a cuddly masterpiece. The yarn? Must be super soft, just don’t scratch! The color? Braun. But stop that Exactly right brown. In the past, Sabine would have turned the whole shop upside down to find something suitable, because you know, she also likes to help her customers save. But in this case, Sabine knows the customer and also the son only too well!

So, straight to the Kashmir shelf, right to our Cashmere Light by Lang Yarns, which we actually advertise for caps, because it’s, well, something goes into the money. But, well, that's the way it is with these noble wishes. The perfect color was then quickly discovered, and zag, the sweater was knitted in zero command.

Last week we had both of them in the store – the proud mom and the “brave” boy (who is actually quite grown up, including a charming, grey melange in his hair). A man is already rarely enough in our shop, but one who also wears Kashmir, cheeky grinning and brings great humor? An absolute highlight! Of course, Sabine was allowed to embrace him right away, and folks, she couldn't let go of the sweater. Incidentally, she wasn’t the only one who couldn’t resist the sweater!

And as it is with a Kashmir escalation: The first sweater did not stay alone. Another sweater had to come, this time with a cashmere mix, then a scarf, and in between also a really cool black and white sweater.
