We hope you have had a great start to the new year 2025 and are just as motivated as we are to get the needles glowing again this year.

During the holidays, when many of us could knit for hours, everyday life is now knocking on the door again. And let’s be honest: In our opinion, unfortunately, he often has too few hours for cozy knitting sessions with candlelight and coffee.

Work, deadlines, commitments – suddenly there is hardly any time left for the beloved wool. But don’t panic, we have some creative ideas on how you can find more time for knitting despite the full calendar.

Because one thing is clear: knitting makes you happy, and a happy everyday life is a jackpot!

Creative knitting breaks in everyday life

The key to finding more time for knitting lies in the small, often overlooked moments of everyday life. Here are a few ideas on how to easily incorporate knitting into your routine:

Your daily journey to work is an ideal opportunity! Whether on the bus or train – a small, portable project such as socks or a headband fits perfectly in your pocket. So even the most boring trips become a creative oasis.

Waiting With Meaning
In the waiting room at the doctor or while the children are training, the time can be wonderfully bridged with a few rows. The knitting in the bag makes such moments much more pleasant and relaxed.

Why not strike a few stitches during the lunch break? Instead of scrolling through social media channels, give yourself a creative break. Knitting relaxes and brings new energy for the rest of the day.
