Since the yarn used is no longer available, no brand yarn is specified in the instructions. I recommend pure wool with a clear stitch pattern and about twice the tread length.
Rhos Dirion ist eine Anhöhe am Nordrand der walisischen Black Mountains. Die Schattierungen von Kalk- und Sandstein, Torf und Flechten, die dort oben anzutreffen sind, waren Inspiration für diese Decke. “

We chose the Double Sunday from Sandnes Garn because it is beautifully soft and has wonderful colors.
Alternatively, you could also use e.g. the Peer Gynt of Sandnes Garn, it has the same strength but would be a bit cheaper (but not so soft ; )

The finished knitted ceiling will be about 150 x 170 cm in size.

Double Sunday by Sandnes Garn 100% merino wool 50 grams of ball ca.108m
Farbe A – 16 Knäuel
Farbe B – 7 Knäuel
Farbe C – 3 Knäuel
Farbe D – 12 Knäuel
We can think of this ceiling very well only in a color e.g. in wool white or light gray (you will need about 38 balls)

You need a circular knitting needle in thickness 4 with a length of about 120 cm
