In turbulent, uncertain times, when (for most of us) staying at home is the only thing we can do, knitting is a wonderful distraction.
The knitting pattern should be demanding and varied at the same time, but also simple and relaxing enough so that it does not create additional stress.
The combination of the luxurious wool and the fluffy mohair silk makes the Stay At Home shawl also silky soft and airy.

So, let’s all stay at home and knit!

yarn
2 colours in ‘fingering’ twine thickness (colours A & C, approximately 366-400 m 100 g) + 1 colour in mohair silk fibre yarn (colour B, approximately 400 m 50 g)

Consumption: 874 m / 956 yds / 3 balls total

Colour A: 350 m / 383 yds / 1 ball of wool
Colour B: 240 m / 262 yds / 1 ball of mohair
Colour C: 284 m / 311 yds / 1 ball of wool

Size:
Length: 214 cm / 84 ½“; Height: 72 cm / 28 ½“

Gauge:
25 stitches / 32 rows = 10 cm / 4′′ in Kraus right in twine thickness Fingering
Measured after tensioning. The gauge has an influence on the size and yarn consumption of the finished knitted piece!

Needle size:
US 4/3.5 mm circular knitting needles (or size for matching gauge)
