Something really awesome has come out of this. The young designer Siv Elise Seland, with the rustic Fritidsgarn and with modern implementation of traditional designs, has designed mega casual trendsetter pieces.

„Wir wollten die Geschichte des Fundaments unserer Produktion erzählen.
The voluminous, hearty, vibrant, absolutely Norwegian, traditional and all-around popular yarn (the young at heart, the everyday hero and pretty much every other Norwegian loves).
We are talking about nothing less than the down-to-earth, reliable and durable FRITIDSGARN, and that is why we celebrate it this year by making a modern but traditionally anchored collection in his honor. Norwegian design studio iiS Woodling by Siv Elise Seland has designed a range of garments. Siv Elise seemed to us to be perfectly suited to this task, as her approach and her beautiful work are modern yet strongly linked to the craftsmanship heritage of knitting.
In addition, it is literally as close to us as the wool we procure.
An essential part of this story is also the well-being of the sheep, who roam the landscape and contribute to the preservation of the cultural landscape. When the wool is thick and grown, it is sheared and sent to our factory in Sandnes, where it is washed with soap and water, carded, spun and then dyed using environmentally friendly dyes in accordance with strict EU regulations.
