The Polly Dress Junior is a lightweight children’s dress with feminine volants, knitted from poppy. It is worked from top to bottom and completed with a decorative volantaum as well as fine i-cord finishes.

The Polly Dress Junior is knitted from top to bottom. First, the front part is started with a provisional mesh stop and is worked in back and forth rows with shortened rows and lateral inclines. The back part is knitted in the same way before both parts are joined together and further worked in rounds. At the bottom, the stitches are chained and then twice as many stitches are picked up to work a decorative volantaum. At the end, neck and arm cutouts are bordered with an i-cord.
