The Lyra Sweater from Ballerina Chunky Mohair can be knitted from top to bottom as well as from bottom to top. A figure-stressed raglan sweater with shaped neckline and trumpet-shaped sleeves.
The sweater can be knitted either from top to bottom smoothly to the right with raglan gains or from bottom to top with raglan gains. In the top-down variant, shortened rows are worked to form a deeper neckline before the work is divided into sleeves and front and back parts and completed separately. In the bottom-up variant, the front and back parts are first knitted in rounds to under the sleeves, after which the sleeves are worked and all parts are brought together and removed for the raglan shape. Both variants are completed with trumpet-shaped sleeves.
