Alvar is a classic colourwork sweater knitted in Atlas. It is worked from the top down with raglan increases and a charted pattern, giving it a timeless look rooted in traditional knitwear.

The sweater is worked from the top down in stocking stitch with colourwork. First, stitches are cast on for the yoke, which is worked flat with raglan increases. At the same time, stitches are cast on for the front to shape a slightly deeper neckline. The work is then joined in the round and continued with raglan increases and the charted pattern. Once all increases are complete, the stitches are divided into sleeves, front and back, and the sections are finished separately. The neckband is worked last. The model is 180 cm tall and wears size 2.
