Designed for the Isager Archives 2 collection 2025

Lucia Dress is my contribution to the Isager Archives 2 collection. The Lucia Dress is a feminine, oversized drop-shoulder dress knitted in smooth right with the left side worn on the outside. However, the body and sleeves are knitted from the left side so that they can be knitted smoothly on the right in rounds.

The dress has a delicate lifting mesh pattern on the fit of the front part – lifting mesh knitting is a simple method to work with two colors, as only one color is knitted at a time.

The dress has decorative edges along the shoulders on the front and back, as well as as end edges on the body and sleeves. These edges are knitted in a nice smooth right pattern with the left side outwards and accentuated by rows of lifting stitches. At the lower edge of the body, the overlapping edges each form a small slot on both sides.

The shoulders, sleeve round and submarine neckline are all gently shaped with shortened rows.

The length of the dress is calculated so that it just covers the knee. The sleeves are designed for a 3/4 length. The dress is knitted from top to bottom, which makes all lengths easy to customize.

The dress / blouse is designed with a range of movement of 15-30 cm.
The model in the photos has a chest circumference of about 84 cm and wears size XS with a range of movement of about 31 cm.
It is recommended to use the larger range of motion for smaller sizes and the smaller range of motion for larger sizes.
