The Vega Sweater wird von oben nach unten gearbeitet. Zuerst erfolgt der obere Teil der Rückseite mit verkürzten Reihen und Zunahmen. Danach werden die Schultern aus aufgenommenen Maschen entlang der Rückseite gefertigt. Im Anschluss werden entlang der Schultern weitere Maschen aufgenommen und die restliche Passe wird in Runden auf einer Rundstricknadel gestrickt. Der Rumpf wird ebenfalls in Runden auf der Rundstricknadel gearbeitet, die Ärmel mit einem Nadelspiel oder der Magic Loop Methode. Zuletzt werden Maschen rund um den Halsausschnitt aufgenommen – diese werden zuerst im Doppelstrick, danach in einem 2×2 Rippenmuster gestrickt.

The Vega Sweater should have a freedom of movement ()positive ease) of about 22 cm in relation to your chest circumference. The sizes XXS(XS)S(M)L(XL)2XL (3XL)4XL (5XL) match a chest circumference on the body of 75-80 (80-85)85-90 (90-95)95-100 (100-110) 110-120 (120-130) 130-140 (140-150) cm. The dimensions of the finished sweater can be found on the title page (note that these dimensions apply only if the gauge is adhered to). Take measurements of yourself before you begin the actual knitting to determine the size that suits you best. If your chest circumference (or the widest part of your body) is 90 cm, you should choose size S. A sweater in Gr. S has a breast circumference of 112 cm and would have a range of movement in the chosen example (S)positive ease) of 22 cm. Table of Measures can be found hier.
