The Valerie Blouse is worked in one piece from top to bottom. It is knitted like a cardigan with an oblique opening on the front and finally the opening is closed with buttons. The pass is constructed so that first sleeve increases are made, then raglan increases. The neck cutout is formed with shortened rows. The sleeves are made in rounds on a set of double-pointed needles or with the Magic Loop method.

Knit first a stitch sample to determine the needle size that suits you. Wash the gauge as the recommended yarn can still grow when washed and worn.

The Valerie Blouse should have a range of movement ()negative ease) of about -2 cm in relation to your chest circumference. The sizes XXS(XS)S(M)L(XL)2XL (3XL)4XL (5XL) match a chest circumference on the body of 75-80 (80-85)85-90 (90-95)95-100 (100-110) 110-120 (120-130) 130-140 (140-150) cm. The dimensions of the finished blouse can be found on the title page (note that these dimensions only apply if the gauge is adhered to). Take measurements of yourself before you begin the actual knitting to determine the size that suits you best. If your chest circumference (or the widest part of your body) is 90 cm, you should choose size S. A blouse in Gr. S has a chest circumference of 89 cm and would have a range of movement in the chosen example (S)negative ease) of -1 cm. Table of Measures can be found hier.
