The Storm Sweater is worked from top to bottom in the structural pattern. First is the back, which is knitted with shortened rows to shape the shoulder slopes. After that, stitches are picked up for the shoulders, which are collected at the front to the front. Front and back are placed under the arm cutouts on a needle, forming the torso that is knitted straight down. The sleeves are worked in rounds on a set of double-pointed needles or with the Magic Loop method. The neck cutout is knitted with a ribbon, which is folded onto the inside and knitted there. The Storm Sweater is worked in the structural pattern, which consists of four different pattern segments.

Knit first a stitch sample to determine the needle size correct for you – note that the stitch sample must fit both in height and width to achieve the dimensions given on the front. Please make the gauge following the diagram in the instructions.

Größenguide

The Storm Sweater should have a range of movement (positive ease) of about 26 cm in relation to your chest circumference. The sizes XXS(XS)S(M)L(XL)2XL (3XL)4XL (5XL) match a chest circumference on the body of 75-80 (80-85)85-90 (90-95)95-100 (100-110) 110-120 (120-130) 130-140 (140-150) cm. The dimensions of the finished sweater can be found on the front of the instructions. Note: These dimensions apply only if the gauge is observed. Take measurements of yourself before you begin the actual knitting to determine the size that suits you best. If your chest circumference (or the widest part of your body) is 90 cm, you should choose size S. A sweater in Gr. S has a breast circumference of 116 cm and in this case would have a range of movement (positive ease) of 26 cm.
