The Sekvens Sweater is knitted from top to bottom in the rib pattern (1 re, 1 li) with raglan increases with a thread spini and a thread silk/mohair. The first part of the pass is knitted back and forth to shape the neckline. The sleeves are knitted on a set of double-pointed needles or with the Magic Loop method. Finally, stitches are picked up along the neck cutout and a double ribbon edge is knitted over this.
Note that the gauge must be measured after tensioning. This means that during knitting you will measure a stitch sample of about 25-27 M per 10 cm, and then after washing and tensioning when wearing a stitch sample of 22 M per 10 cm results. Knit first, wash and tighten a knit sample before you begin the actual knitting of your secvens sweater.
Sizes Guide
The Sekvens Sweater should have a range of movement (positive ease) of about 13-14 cm in relation to your chest circumference. The sizes XS(S)M(L)XL correspond to a breast circumference of about 85 (90)95 (100)110 cm. Take measurements of yourself before you start knitting to make sure you’ve chosen the right size for you. For example, if your breast circumference is 95 cm, you should choose the size M.
