The Melange Sweater It works from top to bottom. First, the upper part of the back is done in rows, while the shoulder slopes are formed with shortened rows. On the lower back, increases are made. The shoulders are then knitted separately in rows on a circular knitting needle. These are then closed to the front. The front and rear are closed to the round and the body is worked in rounds on a circular knitting needle. The sleeves are knitted from the picked up stitches around the arm cutouts in rounds on a circular knitting needle, using the double-pointed needles of the Magic Loop method. The collar on the neck cutout is formed from received stitches around the cutout. It is placed double and knitted on the inside of the sweater.
The Melange Sweater is made of 2 thin wool threads in contrast colors, so that the melting is prominent.
Knit first a stitch sample to determine the needle size that suits you.
Größenguide
The Melange Sweater should have a range of movement (positive ease) of about 15-20 cm in relation to your chest circumference. The sizes XS(S) M(L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL correspond to a breast circumference on the body of 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) 120-130 (130-140) 140-150 cm. The dimensions of the finished sweater can be found on the title page. Take measurements of yourself first before you start the actual knitting to determine the size that suits you best. If your chest circumference (or the widest part of your body) is 90 cm, you should choose size S. A sweater in Gr. S has a breast circumference of 110 cm and in this case would have a range of movement (positive ease) of 20 cm.
