Otto Sweater Man

The Otto Sweater Man is worked in a strip pattern from top to bottom. First is the back. Thereafter, the shoulders are knitted separately in rows on the circular knitting needle. These are connected at the front and form the front. The front and rear sides are connected to the fuselage, which is produced in rounds on the circular knitting needle. Stitches for the sleeves are inserted around the arm cutouts. The folded-over neck collar is finally knitted from picked-up stitches.

The Otto Sweater Man should have room for movement ()positive ease) of about 10-15 cm in relation to your breast circumference. The sizes XS(S) M(L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL correspond to a breast circumference on the body of 86-91 (91-96) 96-101 (101-107) 107-113 (113-119) 119-124 (124-132) 132-144 cm. The dimensions of the finished sweater can be found on the title page. Take measurements of yourself first before you start the actual knitting to determine the size that suits you best. If your breast circumference (or the widest part of your body) is 103 cm, you should choose size L. A sweater in Gr. L has a breast circumference of 116 cm and in this case would have a range of movement ()positive ease) of 13 cm.
