The Olga Jacket is worked from top to bottom with strips. First, the upper part of the back is done in rows, while the shoulder slopes are formed by shortened rows. At the same time, knitting is carried out in the strip pattern. The shoulders are then worked separately on a circular knitting needle. The two fronts and the rear are joined to form the body, which is knitted in rows with strips on a circular knitting needle. The sleeves are made from received stitches around the arm cutouts. The diaphragms and rib collars on the neck cutout are finally knitted from received M.

The Olga jacket should have a range of movement (positive ease) of about 23 cm for the smaller sizes and a gradually smaller range of movement for the larger sizes. The sizes XXS(XS)S(M)L(XL)2XL (3XL)4XL (5XL) match a chest circumference on the body of 75-80 (80-85)85-90 (90-95)95-100 (100-110) 110-120 (120-130) 130-140 (140-150) cm. The dimensions of the finished jacket can be found on the title page. Take measurements of yourself before you begin the actual knitting to determine the size that suits you best. If your breast circumference (or the widest part of your body) measures 95 cm, you should choose size M, as it has a breast circumference of 118 cm and the range of movement (positive ease) in the mentioned example is 23 cm.
