The Novice Sweater is knitted from top to bottom. This means that you start with the neckline, then knit the pass, then the torso and finally the sleeves. The sweater is worked smoothly on the right, but the edges in the fret pattern.

The Novice Sweater has a round pass. This is achieved by knitting increases during knitting – evenly distributed on the pass in four rounds.

Remember that you can only count on the specified dimensions if your gauge fits.
The sizes XS(S) M(L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL match a breast circumference of approximately 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) 120-130 (130-140) 140-150 cm. The Novice Sweater should have a range of movement (positive ease) of 5-10 cm. This means, for example, if you have measured a breast circumference of 90 cm (take yourself with a tape measure), you should knit a size S that has a breast circumference of 98 cm.
