The Novice Slipover Junior is worked smoothly to the right from top to bottom. First, the rear side takes place, at the stop edge of which stitches are then picked up to form the shoulders, which are then closed at the front to form the front side. Front and rear are collected under the arm cutouts and form the fuselage, which is made in rounds on a circular knitting needle. The Novice Slipover Junior should have a range of movement (positive ease) of about 10 cm in relation to the breast circumference. The sizes 1-2 (2-3) 3-4 (4-5) 5-6 (6-7) 7-8 (8-9) 9-10 (10-12) 12-14 years correspond to a breast circumference on the body of about 53 (54) 56 (57) 59 (62) 64 (68) 72 (77) 82 cm. The dimensions of the finished pulling scale can be found on the title page (note that these dimensions apply only if the gauge is adhered to). If you/the recipient has/has a breast circumference of 62 cm, you should choose ages 6-7. A pullunder in Gr. 6-7 years has a breast circumference of 72 cm and in this case would have a range of movement (positive ease) of 10 cm. If the measured breast circumference deviates from the age indication, you should adjust the length to the person to be stunted. The same applies if the child is smaller/larger than the average.
