The Maggie Vest It works from top to bottom. First is the back with increases. Then, at the top of the back, stitches are picked up for the shoulders, which are knitted in rows with increases and decreases. Beneath the arm cutouts, shoulders and back are connected, forming the torso, which is worked in rows on the circular knitting needle. Rib collars are formed around the arm cutouts. Finally, the front edges and the neck cutout are knitted.

The Maggie Vest should have a range of movement (positive ease) of about 5 cm. The sizes XXS(XS)S(M)L(XL)2XL (3XL)4XL (5XL) match a chest circumference on the body of 75-80 (80-85)85-90 (90-95)95-100 (100-110) 110-120 (120-130) 130-140 (140-150) cm. The dimensions of the finished vest can be found on the title page. Note: These dimensions apply only if the gauge is observed. Take measurements of yourself first before you start the actual knitting to determine the size that suits you best. If your chest circumference (or the widest part of your body) is 90 cm, you should choose size S. A vest in Gr. S has a chest circumference of 96 cm and in this case would have a range of movement (positive ease) of 6 cm.
