The Maggie Cardigan It works from top to bottom. First, the upper part of the back is done with increases. The shoulder parts are then produced from received M on the upper rear side. Stitches are picked up along the shoulders and the restl. Passes and the body are knitted in rows on a circular knitting needle. The sleeves are worked in rounds on a set of double-pointed needles or with the Magic Loop method. Finally, bezels are knitted along the front edges and around the neck cutout.

Knit first a stitch sample to determine the needle size correct for you. Wash the gauge before you measure it.

The Maggie Cardigan should have a range of movement (positive ease) of about 5 cm. The sizes XXS(XS)S(M)L(XL)2XL (3XL)4XL (5XL) match a chest circumference on the body of 75-80 (80-85)85-90 (90-95)95-100 (100-110) 110-120 (120-130) 130-140 (140-150) cm. The dimensions of the finished cardigantic jacket can be found on the title page. Note: These dimensions apply only if the gauge is observed. Take measurements of yourself first before you start the actual knitting to determine the size that suits you best. If your chest circumference (or the widest part of your body) is 90 cm, you should choose size S. A sweater in Gr. S has a chest circumference of 96 cm and in this case would have a range of movement (positive ease) of 6 cm.
