The Key Sweater is knitted from top to bottom with raglan increases. After the ribbed on the neck, shortened rows are made to shape the neck cutout. The body and sleeves are knitted in rounds and both end with a fret closure. On the sweater is knitted a two-colored strip pattern.

The key sweater should have a range of movement ()positive ease) of about 25 cm in the smallest sizes, but increasingly smaller in the larger sizes. The sizes XXS(XS)S(M)L(XL)2XL (3XL)4XL (5XL) match a chest circumference on the body of 75-80 (80-85)85-90 (90-95)95-100 (100-110) 110-120 (120-130) 130-140 (140-150) cm. The dimensions of the finished sweater can be found on the front of the instructions. Note: These dimensions apply only if the gauge is observed. Take measurements of yourself before you begin the actual knitting to determine the size that suits you best. If your chest circumference (or the widest part of your body) is 84 cm, you should choose size XS. A sweater in Gr. XS has a chest circumference of 109 cm and in this case would have a range of movement ()positive ease) of 25 cm.
