The Jenny Sweater is worked from bottom to top in the smok pattern with raglan gains. Body part and sleeves are knitted separately before they are placed on a circular knitting needle for the pass. The neck cutout is made in rows on the needle and is formed while at the same time stitches are chained. The collar is finally knitted from picked up stitches.
First, make a gauge to determine the needle size that suits you.

The Jenny Sweater should have a range of movement (positive ease) of about 19 cm in relation to your chest circumference. The sizes XS(S) M(L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) match a chest circumference on the body of 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) 120-130 (130-140) cm. The dimensions of the finished sweater can be found on the first page. Take measurements of yourself before you begin the actual knitting to determine the size that suits you best. If your chest circumference (or the widest part of your body) is 90 cm, you should choose size S. A sweater in Gr. S has a breast circumference of 109 cm and in this case would have a range of movement (positive ease) of 19 cm. If you are between two sizes, it is recommended to choose the smaller size, as the smok pattern will widen a little while wearing it.
