The Jenny Jacket V-neck is worked from top to bottom in the Smockstrick. First, the back is in rows and shortened rows create the shoulder slopes. After that, stitches for the shoulder are picked up at the top of the back. The fuselage is produced in rows on a circular knitting needle. The sleeves are knitted in rounds in a smock pattern. Finally, stitches for the panels are picked up along the leading edges, which are worked in a double knitting process.

First, make a stitch sample before you start the actual knitting to determine the needle size that suits you. Wash the gauge before you measure it.

The Jenny Jacket V-neck should have a range of movement (positive ease) of about 15-20 cm in the sizes XS to L, about 13-18 cm in the sizes XL and 2XL and about 5-10 cm in the sizes 3XL, 4XL and 5XL. The sizes XS(S) M(L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL match a chest circumference on the body of 80-85

(85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) 120-130 (130-140) 140-150 cm. The dimensions of the finished cardigantic jacket can be found on the front. Take measurements of yourself before you begin the actual knitting to determine the size that suits you best. If your chest circumference (or the widest part of your body) is 90 cm, you should choose size S. A sweater in Gr. S has a breast circumference of 107 cm and in this case would have a range of movement (positive ease) of 17 cm.
