The Ivy Top It works from top to bottom. The top is designed so that first the shoulder increases and shortened rows are made before the front and back are made separately in rows. The front and rear sides are then connected to form the fuselage, which is knitted in rounds on a circular knitting needle.
Knit first a stitch sample to determine the needle size that suits you. Wash the gauge as the recommended yarn can still grow when washed and worn.
Größenguide
The Ivy Top should have a negative range of movement ()negative ease) of about -6 cm in relation to your chest circumference. The sizes XXS(XS)S(M)L(XL)2XL (3XL)4XL (5XL) match a chest circumference on the body of 75-80 (80 85)85-90 (90-95)95-100 (100-110) 110-120 (120-130) 130-140 (140 150) cm. The dimensions of the finished top can be found on the front page (note that these dimensions only apply if the gauge is adhered to). Take measurements of yourself before you begin the actual knitting to determine the size that suits you best. If your chest circumference (or the widest part of your body) is 90 cm, you should choose size S. A top in Gr. S has a chest circumference of 84 cm and would have a range of movement in the chosen example (S)negative ease) of 6 cm. Table of Measures can be found hier.
