The Ingrid Sweater is worked from top to bottom in the structural pattern. First it starts at the back part with the shoulder part, then the shoulder part in front. The front and back parts are joined together under the arm cutouts and knitted straight down in rounds. Then knitted on the sleeves and also worked in rounds from top to bottom.
The Ingrid Sweater is worked in a structural pattern consisting of three different pattern segments. Between each of these segments, a section is knitted with hole patterns.
Knit first a stitch sample to determine the needle size correct for you – note that the stitch sample must fit both in height and width to achieve the dimensions given on the front.

The Ingrid Sweater should have a range of movement (positive ease) of about 20 cm in relation to your chest circumference.
The sizes XS(S) M(L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL match a chest circumference on the body of 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) 120-130 (130-140) 140-150 cm. The dimensions of the finished sweater can be found on the front of the instructions. Take measurements of yourself before you begin the actual knitting to determine the size that suits you best. If your chest circumference (or the widest part of your body) is 90 cm, you should choose size S. A sweater in Gr. S has a breast circumference of 112 cm and in this case would have a range of movement (positive ease) of 22 cm.
