The Emmy Top It works from the bottom up. The body is first smoothly made to the right in rounds before being divided into front and back. Both parts are knitted separately in rows and acceptances are made on the sides. At the top of the front, the outer stitches are folded onto the inside and beams are made in double knit, which are then mounted on the back with the mesh stitch.

Knit first a stitch sample to determine the needle size that suits you. Wash the gauge as the recommended yarn can still grow when washed and worn. Note that the top can grow a few inches after washing and stretching – keep this in mind when choosing the size.

The Emmy Top should have a negative range of movement ()negative ease) of about -8 cm in relation to your chest circumference. The sizes XXS(XS)S(M)L(XL)2XL (3XL)4XL (5XL) match a chest circumference on the body of 75-80 (80 85)85-90 (90-95)95-100 (100-110) 110-120 (120-130) 130-140 (140-150) cm. The dimensions of the finished top can be found on the front page (note that these dimensions only apply if the gauge is adhered to). Take measurements of yourself before you begin the actual knitting to determine the size that suits you best. If your chest circumference (or the widest part of your body) is 90 cm, you should choose size S. A top in Gr. S has a breast circumference of 82 cm and would have a range of movement in the chosen example (S)negative ease) of 8 cm.
