The Elisabeth Blouse is worked from top to bottom. First, the collar is made in such a way that the front and rear appear smoothly to the right, then the first part of the pass is made in rows on a circular knitting needle with raglan increases. Stitches are picked up along the edges of the pass, which are then knitted in the double face, while the remaining pass is collected and completed. With the help of shortened rows, the neck cutout is formed.
In this guide, the techniques Judy’s Magic Cast On, German Short Rows, Double Knit and Italian Binding are used. Knit first a stitch sample to determine the needle size correct for you.

The sizes XS(S) M(L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL match a chest circumference on the body of 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) 120-130 (130-140) 140-150 cm. The dimensions of the finished blouse can be found on the title page. Note: These dimensions apply only if the gauge is observed. Take measurements of yourself first before you start the actual knitting to determine the size that suits you best. If your chest circumference (or the widest part of your body) is 90 cm, you should choose size S. A blouse in Gr. S has a chest circumference of 96 cm and in this case would have a range of movement (positive ease) of 6 cm.
