Celeste sweaters

The Celeste sweaters is knitted from top to bottom with round passes. First the neck lining is made, then the round pass is worked in the pattern with 5 different colors following the diagram (it is a maximum of 2 colors per round). After the sample part of the pass, shortened rows are knitted to increase the back and give the sweater a great fit. The body and sleeves are worked smoothly on the right in rounds and with rib bundles.

Note that when knitting with pattern (Fair Isle) you often have to use a needle 0.5 to 1 mm thicker than when knitting in one color. Therefore, make both a single-color and multi-color stitch sample before you start with the actual knitting.

The Celeste Sweater should have a range of movement (positive ease) of about 15 cm in relation to your chest circumference. The sizes XXS(XS)S(M)L(XL)2XL (3XL)4XL (5XL) match a chest circumference on the body of 75-80 (80-85)85-90 (90-95)95-100 (100-110) 110-120 (120-130) 130-140 (140-150) cm. The dimensions of the finished sweater can be found on the title page. Take measurements of yourself first before you start the actual knitting to determine the size that suits you best. If your chest circumference (or the widest part of your body) is 85 cm, you should choose size XS. A sweater in Gr. XS has a chest circumference of 100 cm and in this case would have a range of movement (positive ease) of 15 cm.
