The Agnete Cardigan is worked from top to bottom in the patent model. First, a piece is made in the double knit, which lies in the neck and is related to the bezels on the front sides. Stitches are picked up on this piece and the back is knitted. Afterwards, the right and left front side is worked. These three parts are combined and form the body, which is worked in rows in the patent model, with bezels in the double knit. Button holes are produced along the front panels. Stitches for the sleeves are inserted around the arm cutouts.
Knit first a stitch sample to determine the needle size correct for you. Make sure that the gauge in height (i.e. the number of rows per 10 cm) can vary depending on which yarn you choose. Most importantly, the gauge in width (i.e. the number of stitches per 10 cm) is correct.

The Agnete Cardigan should have a range of movement (positive ease) of 10-15 cm in relation to your chest circumference. The sizes XS(S) M(L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL match a chest circumference on the body of 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) 120-130 (130-140) 140-150 cm. The dimensions of the finished cardigantic jacket can be found on the title page of the instructions. Take measurements of yourself before you begin the actual knitting to determine the size that suits you best. If your chest circumference (or the widest part of your body) is 90 cm, you should choose size S. A sweater in Gr. S has a breast circumference of 105 cm and in this case would have a range of movement (positive ease) of 15 cm.
