The TROPEZ Sweater is a simple, boxy cut sweater in the hole pattern. A real summer favorite that can be worn airy over a top or even over the bikini on the beach.
The sweater is crocheted from bottom to top in the ‘Granny’ pattern. First the back part is crocheted in rows, then the front part. The shoulder seams are then crocheted together with warp stitches and the two parts are thus connected to one another. The sleeves are also worked in rows and crocheted directly to the body.
Finally, the side and sleeve seams are closed with the aid of warp stitches and the neckline, the lower sleeve edges and the body are bordered with fixed stitches.
Techniques used: air stitches, fixed stitches, rods, warp-meshed crochets. All techniques used are explained in the manual under the item ‘Terms & Explanations’.
