Nomad Scarf

The NOMAD Scarf is a scarf with an integrated hood, a practical and cozy alternative to a hat and scarf.

The NOMAD Scarf is worked from bottom to top in the semi-patent. The two switching cables are first knitted individually from the tip upwards. The stitches of the two parts are then combined on a needle to form a hood. The hood is formed with the aid of double increases and double decreases and finally sewn together in the upper region in the mesh stitch.

Techniques used: semi-patent with envelopes, left and right inclined double increases, left and right inclined double decreases, mesh stitch (“Kitchener Stitch”).

MATERIAL

6 balls Lang Yarns YAK (70% Merino extrafine – mulesing free, 30% yak; 50 gram balls with a running length of ̃120m)

YAK is a noble classic yarn.  It is super soft and available in the most beautiful natural colors. It gets a feel like Kashmir.
